Who are We?
We are a woman of colour founded loungewear brand based in Vancouver, British Columbia. We combine comfort with versatile and conscious design to make quality apparel for busy women and their little ones. All of our Lav + Kush loungewear is designed in our Vancouver studio and manufactured ethically by reputable contractors in Canada and the Lower Mainland. We use more sustainable fabrics like bamboo blends, organic cottons, linen, and Tencel to create our amazingly comfortable and versatile pieces.
Our Mission
Our brand mission is to empower busy women through comfort, style, and a more conscious and sustainable way of life. We also strive to make a 'community impact' by donating a portion of all sales to Non Profit organizations like BC Blanket Society, the SPCA, and many others.
Meet the Founder
Angela Saxena is the designer behind the brand. After 2 kids, 2 businesses, the designer had a huge need for stylish, versatile and comfortable clothing, she quickly realized how many other women felt the same. Fast forward past design school, business life and life with kids, Lav and Kush was born. She now has a commitment to providing women and families with "stressless" mornings, and fashionable clothing that can be worn everyday, all day. What does the future hold? Let's say a dream of owning factories in developing countries with full transparency to consumers, helping to lift and empower others and continue building the Lav and Kush brand by designing more cozy and versatile pieces.
